Faces in Unlikely Places
I captured this single long exposure shot while I was on a state park adventure on 06/19/2015. Me and my fiance had been hiking most of the day, so we decided to take a break in this spot. I sat and enjoyed the view, reminiscing about life and my future. I noticed that there was some foam floating around in the water. At that point, it was almost sunset, so I set up my camera and tripod and captured some long exposures of this scene, knowing the effect it would give. One thing that I didn't notice at first was the face in the water. In fact, the face is sort of reminiscent of E.T. off of one of my favorite classics. When things like this happen, it brings me peace of mind that photography is my destiny.
Peace of Mind
I captured this photo when I visited the Great Smoky Mountains on 06/25/2015. The Smokies offers a vast assortment of trails to explore and waterfalls to view. This photo is of Lynn Camp Falls on the Middle prong Trail. You do not have to hike far to be rewarded with this beautiful view. The trail is rated as Easy.
Rock Island State Park
I captured this photo at the bottom of a spaghetti-junction type trail. The trails start off as one but turn into many because of the rocky environment. the hike to this spot in particular was a little challenging due too the slick rocks along the way. Rock Island is one of the more impressive state parks in Middle Tennessee. Trail Rating Easy to Moderate. Taken 06/18/2015
