Rose Lake State Wildlife Research Area is  located near Dewitt, East Lansing and Haslett
 
Birdwatchers can explore over 4,000 acres of diverse habitats. The area is home to various bird species including waterfowl and songbirds. There are several trails for easy access to prime viewing spots. Birding events occur throughout the year.
